Why do I have to verify my checking account?

Acorns wants to keep your account safe, so sometimes we may require you to verify ownership of your linked checking account. Acorns will send two small amounts to your linked checking account, each less than $0.10. You will be prompted to enter these two small deposits into the application. These amounts are typically sent 1-2 days after your first investment completes. Once you have entered the correct amounts you will be able to withdraw funds from your Acorns account.

If you have not received these deposits or if you no longer have access to the monthly statement with these deposits, please contact our Support team and we would be happy to send you a new set of verification deposits.
